I was wondering why the price on this cover for my MacBook Pro was good. The product I received was certainly not a “High Density Memory Foam” material. There is NO protection or padding for my computer, I would not feel safe even putting my computer in this sleeve to protect it from books in my bookbag. I would return this product if it wouldn’t cost me more than I paid for the original product. Shows me that you get what you pay for, don’t make the same mistake I did! CHEAP CHEAP quality material, I’m embarrassed for Cosmos if they endorse this product. Spend the extra money and protect your investments!

I purchased this Cosmos laptop sleeve for my girlfriend’s 13″ Apple Macbook Pro. It fits the laptop perfectly. The price was very inexpensive at $9.99 and overall I would consider this product a great value for the price. The item also comes with a free cable tie, which is useful but easy to lose.
The construction is sturdy and seems sufficient to protect the laptop while it is being carried in a messenger bag/bookbag/totebag/bag-bag. I would still try to avoid dropping it though, as no soft laptop sleeve is going to be able to prevent heavy fall damage. The zippers open and close smoothly, with the molded hard plastics tabs making it easy to zip up the sleeve. There is a border of hard white plastic on both the top and bottom of the sleeve. This could potentially help to absorb the impact of a fall, but I think they are mainly there for aesthetics.
The foam of the sleeve is unique in that it holds an imprint of whatever applies pressure to it. For example, you can press your fingers into the foam and when you take away your hand there will be finger imprints in the surface of the sleeve. These indentions go away after about 10 minutes, but can be somewhat unsightly depending on your expectations. With regards to the color, the pink fabric of the sleeve is not quite as bright as shown in the product picture. The pink is lighter and more pastel than the vivid neon pink in the picture.
Overall, this is a great sleeve for $9.99 that will keep your 13.3″ laptop safe from harm. The foam indention quirk and the muted pink color are the only faults in an otherwise useful product.
