A perfect little webcam for the price,
For the price, this is one of the best webcams I have ever purchased. Although the description states that it is 5 megapixels, it is not, however the display is high quality. The microphone is extremely sensitive which in my case means that it picks up the noise of the computer fan roughly 5 feet away from it. The cam components seem to be of higher quality as well. The base is sturdy and the stand’s swivel mechanism is tight – not loose, so the cam won’t be flopping around or falling down in the middle of a video chat.
The one thing I was unsure about before ordering this product was whether or not it had a “status light” telling me when the webcam was broadcasting (it does NOT) and whether or not it had a separate mic plug, or if the audio went through the USB plug. About 4/5ths of the way down the cable it splits, and there is a separate mic plug as well as a USB plug. Although this didn’t affect my purchase in any way, it may be helpful for some to know since the pictures on the product page do not show the end of the cable at all.

|Good affordable webcam,
I own several webcams and I can say this is one of the best webcams I have used so far. The Kinobo B7 webcam works really well on most applications (especially skype) with a clear, detailed, and crisp image that even rivals the Logitech C510 (my other webcam). The color display is great and I was amazed that this inexpensive camera was that good. The audio quality is clear and good as well(although i think the C510 has a better microphone in comparison).
It would be good if this webcam had a zoom in/out feature or a program that can set the display ratio in case some applications can’t handle the amount of pixels that is set by default (this may be too much to ask for given the price, but it would be a nice feature). However, I am also satisfied that this was a plug and play device that did not require a disc for additional drivers. Overall, I am very satisfied that I purchased this webcam. For the price, this webcam is great and affordable.
