I was a bit leary about getting a refurbished unit at first, but it was a less expensive alternative than buying new or even upgrading my old computer. To up grade my old computer I would have had to buy more Ram memory and buy the OS as well. Getting this referbished unit was the best alternative. It has a much faster processor than my old computer and much more Ram and HD space (750G!!!)
A new computer with all this power, memory and storage space would have cost about $1400.00. Buying it referbished was a a good investment at 1/5 the cost. I bought it mainly for Home Studio Audio Recording. I put Cakewalk Sonar X1 on it and it works slick.

A great value. Very powerful computer at a great price. I had a 120 GB hard drive and 1.5 GB RAM on my previous computer. This computer is a significant upgrade on what I had.
